Hi everyone,

Are you doing group seminars yet? If so, maybe this information will be helpful to you.

When you do your group seminar, conduct a drawing. The prize is a free 30 minute hypnosis demonstration for a business organization. It can be a great way to get your foot in the door to a business!

Ask all attendees to fill out a form before you start your seminar. Put the completed forms into a bag or box for drawing at the end of your seminar. The form should have name, address, city, state, zip, country, phone number, website address and e-mail address. Why is the website address important?

After the seminar concludes, and you’ve drawn the name of a business organization who will get your free 30 minute group seminar presentation, look at the attendees website addresses on the forms. If you review the website, you could see something he/she needs in the way of hypnosis products/services you offer.

For example, I write website copy as one of my services. I can tell if a website has too much feature copy instead of benefit copy. I can often get hired to write hypnotic website copy if I show the prospect the value of changing the copy to benefit-oriented copy.

Check out http://www.hypnosissilverspring.com/. Don Pelles attended one of my seminars and we talked about the importance of writing exciting, inviting website copy. He is in the process of changing his copy. Look at the imaginative copy he’s written (in yellow) so site visitors imagine living their dream with the help of hypnosis. The paragraph in yellow is benefit (to the prospect) copy. The stuff in turquoise he’s still working on. He’s really improved his writing. I’m very proud of him.

When you offer unique ideas on your website, you make your site desired over your competitors. So, that’s the value of also asking a seminar attendee for his/her website address.

Also, as you review the website of a prospect, you may be able to agree on a joint venture by seeing the needs of a prospect that can be fulfilled by your hypnosis products or services. As you offer usable information that helps your prospects excel, you develop important business relationships where everyone prospers.
